Agni Chandra, a Tantra Yogini for 8 years from Portugal, has been deeply devoted to Goddess Tara and Tantra path. Her journey at SKaSTA led her to question why she came, explore boredom and frustration, and ultimately understand her inner processes more deeply. Through the teachings, she discovered a profound connection to her embodied experience, emotional release, and a deeper devotion to aliveness and the play of existence. Tom from Germany first came to SKaSTA in 2013, spending a full year immersed in Kaula Tantra Yoga. Despite knowing about Shri Kali Ashram, he arrived to SKaSTA with no expectations, just curiosity and a desire to reconnect. He loves Kovalam’s authenticity, where he could integrate Ayurveda treatments with ashram life. His favorite aspects are the morning rituals, readings, and handouts, which helped him dive deeper into philosophy—though he admits it can be challenging without reference points. For Tom, embracing a beginner’s mind is key—staying open, letting go of assumptions, and allowing the teachings to unfold naturally. Tom's advice to new students: "Come with a completely open heart and open mind and let yourself be shaken, because the teachings are quite radical, yet amazing and life transforming".

Valentina from Italy describes her journey with Tantra Yoga Asana practice as an emotional ‘rollercoaster’ that ultimately led to profound self-discovery. Through this practice, she found the space and time to dive deep within herself, unveiling layers of grief and long-held beliefs that had remained hidden for years. The supportive nature of asana practice allowed her to tap into her body’s wisdom, bringing clarity to her limiting beliefs, conditioned patterns, and unconscious fears. From this place of awareness, she began the transformative process of deconstructing these barriers and consciously creating the life she truly desires. A significant concern for Valentina was her persistent back pain, which she had endured for many years. Precious is sharing her 200 hr TTC experience at SKaSTA Tantra Ashram. During this time she had at the Ashram allowed her really to dive into old and deep emotions such as grief. Creating space for her self and an open invitation of this system to relax and be gentle, allowed and supported her to listen her body's intuition and dive deep into rest and relaxation, bringing her back to livens, creativity and self-love.
